What you need to understand tho is that eve players aren't just kids who rage because stuff takes to long right now.. But if they actually start selling SP and ships and ammo and god knows what for AUR, space is going to be overrun by 12 year olds with their dads platinum card..
And when an old player leaves this game they take their skills and knowledge with them, most of the people in the "I'm quitting" Thread are characters with more then 3 years of activity, thats more then 2k people who has been playing this game for 3 years and who actually knows what to do, how to build ships with proper fittings, among other things that new people don't have.
It's not all about them raging, it's about people getting tired of being lied to from CCP, and this entire fiasco couldn't have come at a worse time after their massive licence failure just a few weeks back..
Just last year CCP said that they wouldn't have any sort of MT for eve EVER, and yet here we stand today (or sit), vanity items isn't a big deal for me, it's they start adding P2W items, which shouldn't be in there..
Another reason for people getting upset is for the fact that CCP has COMPLETELY ignored the community during this entire event which is never a good way to go if you run a company, people ARE going to lose their trust in you, and you will end up with nothing more then saying empty words to a angry mob of 300k people who just doesn't listen..
CCP also constantly puts their foot in it with doing changes to the game removing options etc, without giving people a choice, the fact that they are going to make CQ a MUST is absurd to say the least, i play this game to be in space, I don't want to pay for a game whereby running 3 accounts will make my PC set itself on fire because it EATS CPU..
They just don't think when they do stuff, right now they removed the ability to SEE your ship while you were docked, where you could rightclick on it and get items, look in different tabs, dronebay among other things, but they just decided that "Lets just remove it when we implement CQ" without even considering the fact that people might not want CQ and rather just see their ship, right now i am stuck at looking at a wall..
When Eve was new and in it's first couple of years, CCP listened to people, they did what they could to help them out, but they don't do that anymore, we are their golden cow now, which isn't where i want to be when i pay for a game..
(If you read the page i linked you will find a lot of more reasons why people are upset) i just picked a few, getting tired, haven't slept for 48 hours ;) Damn work ey :) So il be going off, take 10 min and read the reasons..
